The semi-dry concept from SCUBAPRO incorporates many of the advantages of wetsuits and dry suits in a sleek and comfortable package, to give you the best of both worlds. NovaScotia 6.5 offers a low profile, strong sealing and protection in the water, yet it doesn't require bulky undergarments. NovaScotia 6.5 provides minimal water entry and maximum flexibilty in more challenging diving conditions.
- 6.5mm nylon neoprene with EverFlex stretch panels under the arms, behind the knees and calves for comfort and fit.
- Plush interior keeps you comfortable and warm.
- Heavy-duty, self repairing dry zipper across back shoulders keeps water out, avoiding that cold rush often experienced when entering the water.
- Glideskin 3mm fold down neck seal works in conjunction with the included 6/3mm hood for maximum warmth.
- Wrist and ankle 3mm double seals in ultra smooth Glideskin neoprene for additional sealing protection.
- Compression molded combination zipper flap and spine pad: minimizes water intrusion and protects spine and back from heavy tank load.
- Flex panels: these highly flexible panels are used in areas of a wetsuit requiring the greatest mobility for the diver, including knees, elbows, calves, shoulders, and thighs.
- Raw-cut collar neck line: unprecedented comfort compares to traditional roll-edged collars.
- Double skin seal flaps: an advanced insulation concept to minimize water intrusion on all cold water suits.
- Tatex kneepads: SCUBAPRO has perfected the application of TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) kneepads directly to the outer material of the suit, without stitches or glue. The ergonomic shape and placements puts protection where it is needed, without restricting knee movement.
- Abrasion-resistant fabrics: specific weave technology is used to knit high strength and chemical resistant materials used in the more exposed areas of our suits.
